Wild Horses at Aus, Luderitz Town Tour, Kolmanskop Ghost Town

Day 1 - Kalahari Desert
We drive to the Kalahari desert, which forms part of the huge sand basin that reaches from the Orange River up to Angola, in the west to Namibia and in the east to Zimbabwe, With its deep red sand dunes & endless grass plains interspersed with Acacia' s & shrubs, it is the only form of survival for a vast amount of specially adapted wildlife.

Day 2 - Fish River Canyon
We travel further south to the Fish river Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world and the largest in Africa. visiting the unique Quiver Tree forest. Nestled amongst huge dolerite boulders, stacked in such a mysterious way that it seems giants played here. We continue to our lodge, situated in close vicinity to the Fish River Canyon.

Day - 3 - Luderitz
Today we depart westwards to Luderitz, via Aus, after an excursion to the Canyon. Thereafter we travel down the Great Escarpment, into the stretched plains of the Namib Desert. Here we visit Diaz Cross before doing a tour through Lüderitz.

 Day 4 - Luderitz
A visit to the Ghost Town of Kolmanskop reminds us of the diamond rush days of the early 1900' s. Now it stands barren to the harsh wind and heat of the unforgiving desert. Thereafter we travel north to Sossusvlei, home to the highest dunes in the world.

Day 5 - Sossusvlei
At sunrise the dunes turn into a variety of apricot, red and orange,contrasted against a crisp blue skyline, enrapting our senses, and providing us an opportunity to capture this awesome landscape on film. Enjoy lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon we undertake a nature drive to the Sesriem Canyon and return to the lodge for dinner after a sundowner.

Day 6 - Swakopmund
We travel through the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons to Swakopmund. Enjoy lunch in Walvis Bay. Visit the moon landscape with sundowner drive and return to the Hotel, in time to freshen up for dinner.

Day 7 - Windhoek
We enjoy the morning at leisure in Swakopmund. Stopover at Aabadi Bush Camp and enjoy Bush Walk with the San. Lunch at Bush Camp and drive back to Windhoek to be transferred to your place of accomodation or the Hosea Kutako International Airport for your flight back home.
